I remember the day this little beauty came home, Panasonic's newest creation, the Toot-a-Loop AM radio. It was the first portable radio that I ever had. It wasn't all mine, as I was the youngest of five and had to share. We rotated possession between the four of us who were still living at home and when it was my turn, I always tuned in to listen to American Top 40 with Casey Kasem. When it was my sister's turn, she loaded it into her swim bag and took me to the pool. This was awesome because it was like getting a free extra turn with the coveted device. It was even more awesome because my sister was sharing it with me... I loved that.
